This watch shape is affectionately named ‘Sumo’ by Seiko fans because of its size and shape and the 12 o’clock marker – it’s a substantially strong looking timepiece.
This latest design has been upgraded with new modern features, including a ceramic bezel and super hard coating on the case and bracelet for durability.
This watch features a silicone strap, while the dial features a fine pressed pattern dial.The accordion-style silicone strap combines durability and comfort – a strap design invented by Seiko in 1975 as a practical solution to the expansion and contraction of a diver’s wrist at different depths.
The PADI timepiece collection is exclusive to Seiko, as the only global watch brand to design a range of professional diver’s watches in official colours featuring the PADI logo. PADI (The Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world’s leading scuba diving training organisation, unifying divers around the globe who share a passion for adventure and love for the ocean.

Free delivery is available on all UK orders -For items listed as in stock, your order should be completed before 4:00pm (Monday-Friday) for us to despatch the same day or before 11:30am on Saturday for delivery Monday. Please note that all orders must pass our security policy before they are despatched and we must be able to take payment successfully, if this is not possible we will email or send an SMS with further instructions. If we feel we are unable to adhere to the timescale after you place your order we will contact you to make you aware and allow you to change your order if necessary. We aim for you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase and therefore offer you 30 days to change your mind on your purchase (excludes pre-owned watches). You may do this by using the form provided with your order or otherwise. We will provide a refund of all payment received (not including delivery upgrades), usually within 48 hours of receipt of the product. This will be made to the original payment method. For most payment methods it will take 3-5 working days for this to show on your statement.
Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy.For UK orders under £1000, you may generate a free tracked and insured returns label on the Royal Mail website (opens in a new window). You can print this label and send it back at any local Post Office at no cost to yourself. It is also possible to have the label printed at Post Office using the QR code from the confirmation email. Please retain the proof of postage receipt. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a refund of return postage for returns through other methods, so we recommend printing the free postage label provided. For orders over £1000, please consult your receipt for details on how to return. For international returns, you will need to bear the cost of returns postage. Please ensure the watch is returned to us in an unworn, new condition with all the original packaging (manufacturer's manual and guarantee if applicable). Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy. We reserve the right to make deductions for unnecessary damage caused to the product by yourself.
We are also able to offer an exchange to a different product if required, please specify this when returning your product.
If a fault develops with a watch that is outside of the 30 day returns period or is no longer in a new condition the watch can be returned to the manufacturer under the terms of the guarantee (we are an official UK dealer for all brands on our website) so that they can rectify any issues. Seiko Prospex PADI King Sumo Diver Watch SPB325J1 (SPB325J1)This is a very nice watch for the money (mine was half price, but not expensive at RRP, in my view). It is a fairly large watch but it does not look or feel big on my 165mm wrist. Perhaps this is because I like large watches, however, this one does not extend beyond the width of my wrist (the uploaded image is misleading in this respect). As regards the design, it is a conventional diver’s watch with the PADI black globe face design and ceramic dial with blue accents. I like it! The supplied rubber strap is of good quality but is too long on my wrist (probably fine on a wetsuit). As a result, I purchased a bracelet from Uncle Seiko and this works well. It is keeping decent time at +8 seconds per day.
